Unplayable on modern systems
This game is effectively unplayable on modern systems. It's a shame as the entire point of GOG was to make old games playable but now it seems they just don't bother.

Don't bother, not working on Windows 10
I run the game, the intro runs fine and a nice casino-themed main menu shows up, except none of the buttons have anything, no "start game", no "load game", just a whole bunch of silver buttons with nothing written on them. I apply the "fix" suggested somewhere bellow, I get the wrapper, use regedit, change the line... congratulations, now the game is all just a black screen! So glad GOG devs take their time to make these non-functional ports, what else would I waste my time and money on.
