breezy fun, but overlong
this game has lots of retro charm, funny writing, great music and a decent combat system. it just gets old before you're halfway done, which is a shame... and not helped by the strange slowness of the combat animations.

Simple but really funny
A rpg about some people playing a rpg? Yes, but don't get mistaken, because it is a good game, even if simple and parodic. Dialogues and missions are a lot of fun, and you can customize your characters, equipment, and even objectives and difficulty, so you can play it your way and at your own rythm.

interesting take
RPG with some tabletop flavor, with lots of refrences to pop culture and geeky stuff,. The most interesting aspect is that you can choose when and where to start the random battles and side quests, giving you more variety the more you explore or advance in the main quest. Battles are usually not that hard, but there are some serious difficulty spikes, i.e; when trying to unlock one of the classes I did not get any xp initially because I was overleveled, but the boss totally wrecked me in a couple of turns. Overall the game is fun, but unbalanced, so give it a chance.
