Future Unfolding doesn't compete with the open world delights of this season's big hitters like Horizon: Zero Dawn or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but instead offers a wonderfully relaxed and immersive combat-free alternative. It's a safari rather than a big game hunt, but one that deserves to be explored.

A very good game.

Future Unfolding is a game created with and by passion and love for the medium. To me it is one of my favorite games in recent memory and, without going into details, one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've ever had. The artstyle, soundtrack and gameplay fit together in a magical way, similar to games like Transistor, Trine or Bastion, creating a symbiosis which completely absorbed me for around 15 hours. If you enjoyed prior mentioned games, I'm fairly certain you'll have a great time with Future Unfolding!

Beautiful, but confusing

The graphics are amazing, even if a bit surreal. Altough, the few levels (?) were hard to look at becouse of strong and contrasting colors (ie: vivid green and orange together). musics and sounds are fitting. Unfortunately, the confusing things are plot and goal. I've played it for two hours- and still have no idea what was going on, and how far I advanced, or if there even was any advancing to do. I have not finished it yet- uninstalled after I could get past a certain point and got frustrated. Maybe I'll go back to it one day, with a fresh mind. I got it on a bargain, and I'm not sure if I would have been as satisfied with a game if I had bought it for a full price. The game is definitively not for everyone, and it does not hold player by the hand. If you like a beautiful and surreal experience you should like it. The trailer shown in the shop is pretty accurate.

pretty cool but..

I got this game for 1,89 euro and for this price i find it a excelent visual adventure. Sounds are also okay and music is soothing. 4/5 stars because after one hour or so of playing i wasnt sure what is going in :) But it's a pretty cool adventure on sale.

Nice game with some issues

First of all, I have just bought the game, installed it and played it 5 minutes. I have a very important issue with the system requirements... I haven't already bought this game before because the minimum requirements were intel icore 5 and I have an intel icore 3. And, do you know what, it works fine on my intel icore 3. This is not serious from the developers, GoG and so on. Secondly, this game lacks keys redefinition settings... and even if it does not have key redefinition settings, you do not know the use of the keys as well... How to play if you don't know the keys... Well anyway, the game looks nice, the music looks nice too... I think I will give it some time...
