Firewatch is amazing for many reasons, but above all because it's an adult game that deals with serious issues, with realistic adult dialogue to match. And it deals with those issues just like actual adults would: sometimes with humor, sometimes with anger, and sometimes with sadness. It is among the very best of the first-person narrative genre, and it reminds us what video game storytelling is capable of in the right hands. It's a game I can see coming back to every year or two just to revisit its beautiful sights and memorable characters – just like a good book.

Overhyped, overpriced trash
Call me insensitive, but in my opinion this "game" has no meat to it's bone, and everyone who praises it does so to pretend he is an intellectual. While some walking simulators CAN be good, this one is just too thin, the choices don't matter and there are lots of red herrings to simulate deepness where there is none. Also in the transcript of an eves-dropper is dialogue that never happened, so the game is inconsequent in that regard.

Most games i dont bother finishing but this one i did, I enjoyed it alot, not so much the ending im wondering if theres anything i missed in the game, or if there are slightly different endins.

Firewatch is a walking sim. There's nothing to do but walk around the environment, take pictures, and experience a story that's not engaging in the least. Whomever made this game knows how to tease players into thinking something interesting will happen, but it never does.
