F.E.A.R. Platinum

One of my favorite FPS. It has a great horror element to it!

I got this on sale not expecting too much but boy, did I underestimate what I was getting. The story, the refinement of the UI and quality of life aspects, and the combat gameplay are just incredibly fun. The developers thought of everything. The Slow Motion fight feature is something right out of The Matrix...well executed. Use it or not...you dont have to. There was one review that said you MIGHT need a fix file. Just to drop into the main install folder. Since it was easy to do I just got it and dropped it in just in case. Just do a search for "FEAR fix dinput.dll " and you will find it easy. Im not a modder or freak about mods and not tech savvy, but that was easy. You may not even need it. Something to do with the game speed overall slowing down after playing a bit. Because of this game's fun combat dynamic and intelligent AI this game has total replayability. A+++

for someone playing in 2025, this game surprisingly holds up.. gameplay is mad fun. definitely would recommend to any fps fan. especially to old school fps fans. the lean mechanic is something i found myself having a lot of fun with, wishing more games would implement it now

Only thing is that smoke effect sometimes bugs out other than that really good experience of a game now will play the expansions

I have never played fear before, i wish i had the gunplay top notch, atmosphere top notch! No hand holding you will die. the story makes sense if you listen to the phones. 10/10 i reccomend.
