Again: Great game, shoddy release
Please refer to my Samurai Showdown review for details, but here's the case in a nutshell: These SNK games now run through a terribly rigid, uncustomizable frontend, Where you cannot even change the button layout. The only thing I'd like to add, that this makes local multiplayer practically impossible. That's one more reason to ignore this version.

Get it for the rom, not for this release
Game runs at turbo speed on my craptop, my controllers aren't recognized appropriately, and controls can't be reconfigured. However, it comes with a zip file that's got the game in it, so that's a plus.

Terrible, avoid
Terrible. Can't reconfigure controls (keyboard btw), and won't accept my fight stick. Joy2key and other control pad emulating software doesn't seem to work either. That's right, they are selling a fighting game, where you can't use a fight stick.

NO FULL SCREEN POSSIBLE
It's a waste of money in my opinion. The game is only playable in a small window covering only 10% of my screen. No full screen possible : no maximize menu or icon you can click and it does not respond to F11 to go fullscreen :-(

Unstable frame rate, almost unplayable
In my environment, the frame rate is very unstable. The game stops quite often for a moment during the play. It's a fatal flaw as a fighting game!
