Fun, Addictive and exciting
This game has a great balance of challenge, combat, ship management and resource building that will keep you entertained for hours. The development team was very helpful with getting me help for Linux as well!

One of the best games of 2012.
Incredible game, and as far as I can tell, a wholly unique premise. It's not often that I want to keep throwing money at a game almost immediately after buying it... but I want to give this game all my money. BUY THIS GAME NOW, and pray for a sequel, DLC, or modding tools soon.

Extremely unpredictable, hard, and great
Ever want to command your own Starship, just like the Starships from Star Trek? Ever want to travel in the final frontier? Well, now you can. FTL is a roguelike space sim that allows you to command a ship and go through a series of sectors to try to get to the end. On the way, you travel from system to system trying to get to the exit so you can get to the next system.

Wow...what a surprise
I am *not* a fan of roguelikes at all, but this game is fantastic. I bought it and played it for over 5 hours straight last night. The game is excruciatingly hard, and I love it. The art style, the sound effects, the awesome SNES-style music, and the combat...oh the combat. Great game.

Surprisingly addictive
I've always had a soft spot for roguelikes (even though I've never been very good at them :P ), so this one was a no brainer. What I didn't expect was getting sucked in so much. It looks like a simple, 2d cartoon but, in your head, I swear I was watching Firefly the whole time. Easily worth the money.
