Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition

The choices you make in Fallout: New Vegas aren't about what you, the player believe in. They're about what the character you've created believes, and this brings a lot of replay value and hundreds of hours of great content. Also, the post-apocalyptic cowboy setting featuring cannibalism is funny.

I've owned the GOG version of FONV for some time. At about 40 hours in, I encountered the dreaded endless load screen bug. Nothing fixes it, including the "start a new game and load your old one from within it" trick. A real shame. I was really enjoying it and want to be able to continue, but it's not to be. PLEASE FIX this and other game-breaking issues!

For me this is an absolute must buy. It has the most immersive world with amazing lore and characters. The graphics arent the best and the engine is outdated. The game does have problems with stability, however after doing my first playthrough, I looked to mods for fixing stability issues and to upgrade the graphics! There are only 2 other games that can even compete with the rich lore and story, amazing quests, variety of npcs of this game imho. If you wish to see the quality and depth of the story, the options it gives you, their morality, the npcs/followers and even the quality of DLCs this game has to offer I suggest you take a look at the Youtube channel called Oxhorn and see his New Vegas playlist!

One of the greatest Fallout game. This game has been installed on my PC for as long as I remember. Since this is the GOG version, it can be played offline no problem. However, If you care about earning the GOG Galaxy achievements, you would have to play the game online while connected to the GOG Galaxy. All of Fallout NV's GOG Galaxy achievements work correctly, since I got to 100% achievement completion on GOG Galaxy without encountering any problem. The game is very atmospheric, the feeling of entering a bar in the Mojave with country music on the background for the first time is priceless. The only problem I have with this game is infinite loading screen (usually start to happen on the middle-part of the game story), although it can easily fixed with mods. Overall, a great gaming experience. 6 out of 5 stars!

I sunk 282 hours into this game after probably spending 150 hours modding it. And imo it truly needed it. I is a massively different game from the original vision, while I stuck to a fairly vanilla experience gameplay wise. The MVP of the whole show is definitely the writing and Obsidians committment to branching choices and how they effect the outcome of everything. Its such a shame that it needed the Fallout TV show for me to play this, because I already loved 1&2 so much and with some gripes like FO 3 very much. For everyone who likes a game that takes you and your decisions serious, just get this game. Its on sale so often and get the Ultimate Edition! They tie into the game quite nicely. Just don´t get it if you are not willing to mod the game. I recommend either the Modpack Viva New Vegas or Tale of Two Wastelands if you want to tie FO 3 and NV together. And for an additional overhaul get Salvo. The former two ensure the best stability and I think both even provide Wabbajack packs, which makes it way faster than what I did modding wise. Just don´t miss out on this masterpiece. And it could all be relevant to season 2 for those who watch the TV series.
