Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on GOG, since our version is directly compatible with Fallout: London, you will only have to follow these easy steps:
- Install the English version of Fallout 4: GOTY Edition via GOG GALAXY and disable your cloud saves.
- Get Fallout London in our store for free.
- Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
- Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

Crashes
I was excited to play fallout london but unfortunately it is not going to work. I had regular fallout 4 vanilla on steam and a lot of videos online said the steam versions crashed a lot. I then purchased the fallout 4 GOTY edition on GOG in hopes of a more smooth installation which it was reletively. I have no problems with GOG itself but everytime I try to play this MOD it starts up gets to a screen with a grid and crashes. I can play my old saves from steam that are somehow saved in the GOG GOTY edition and it works fine. As far as I can tell I will not be able to experience this MOD which is what I wanted to do but now can't. I will search for fixes and potentially update my review but for now this gets one star because it is unplayable, I have played vanilla Fallout 4 for 84 hours on this computer so I know my computer can handle it. Hoping this changes in the future.

A full, free, excellent Fallout game.
I love Fallout: London. Its map and worldbuilding run laps around Fallout 4. There is an amazing amount of content in this game and it's very well executed. The way the world is written is great, it's very distinct from the Fallout games in the United States but it still feels like it takes place in the same universe. They were careful to only carry over the elements that made lore sense, there is a wealth of original British and European lore that makes up the bulk of the game. Fallout London's companions are a highlight of the game. They're layered, nuanced and interesting while having obvious, appreciable differences in how they affect gameplay. Their voice acting is some of the best in the game. My favorite is Mad Jack, the way you unlock him is awesome and without spoiling anything I think his backstory and how it's unveiled is the best of the companions I played with. The map is large and fairly diverse and the factions that populate it are pretty good, lots of region-specific minor factions based on the real-world culture of their part of the city. My favorite area is Westminster. It's full of snooty aristocrats who are too good for the wasteland. The district is walled off and inside it looks like the war never happened. They have a taxi service and a functioning subway train. There are a lot of side quests. Some of these were very buggy, probably the buggiest part of the game, but most are very good. Fallout London easily has as much content as I would expect from a retail Fallout game. In particular I've REALLY enjoyed the companion quests. Bear in mind my five-star review is taking into account the $0 price tag. It's janky, unstable and in some places unpolished enough that I'd be annoyed if it were a paid product, but as a free labor of love it's incredible. You hear about ambitious mod projects all the time that quietly fall apart after a while, but this one made it to the finish line. It's an incredible achievement. For a free game it's almost unbelievably good. I am eagerly awaiting the free DLC's Team FOLON announced a while back.

LooksGREAT but,CRASH at start unplayable
game looks cool and all. But seem like me and others it will not work. Needs a patch asap. Loota people me included already have FO4 on steam. So we got the GoG one to help the little guys. Hoping it gets a fix soon.. I did most fixes online, and on your page. Nothing works longer then a couple mins. Please patch
