How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

Hell, the only weaknesses/flaws so far (for me at least) were things that are obviously unfinished (like the US-Embassy!) and the few weapons! I mean come on, every weapon in the previous games can reasonably show up in London, especially guns of German, French, Spanish, Austrian, Russian, Italian, Czech and even Chinese origin! Sadly, we get very little variety (I modded it heavily for that reason!)
After about 20 hours in I can honestly say that this is a good game - so thanks Team FOLON for the massive amount of work you've put in.
The initial experience was rough, the game crashed every few minutes but after the first patch it runs very stable on my (medium spec) PC. The world is big, there is a lot to explore, it feels like a real FO game.
However, there are still some technical issues that sour the experience:
1) the loading times (especially the transition to outside London) are extremely long, even with a fast M.2 SSD it occasionally takes more than a minute
2) it's very easy to break quests. You explore a bit, you stumble into the wrong location or do something not in the expected order and important quests can't be finished (occasionally not even with the debug console).
The best strategy seems to be to stick to the quests and not snoop around too much on your own. A lot of areas are pretty empty anyway and you avoid messing up future quests.
I get incredible pleasure from the atmosphere of the game. Periodic throwing out of the game and certain bugs and malfunctions do not spoil the experience. Very cool made weapon, personally I think it is much better than in the original game.
Frigging 3 weeks to complete instead of 3 expected days. It's almost too big for it's own good, too much fedex at the start almost made me to uninstall it. But I'm a sucker for some fancy English and good voice acting, the premise of the story is pretty cool and kind of forced me to complete the game. It's not flawless, the story feels as several poorly connected big DLCs.
Slow loading times make the "Long Loading Times Fix" a mandatory. Some crashes can be prevented by restarting the game every 1-2 hours. Some glitches are show stoppers, be prepared to look for console commands to progress in the game.
Despite all the problems, I've still thoroughly enjoyed this game of a mod.
