Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.

Compared to what Bethesda did with Fallout 4 and 76, this is better for me.
[If you have problems to run the game, there is a Discord channel dedicated to help you run the game, join there and you will get support, I found many uiseful solutions from there.]
New enviroment, new enemies, new lore, good voice acting, little things add up to a very big badass "mod" that serves really well a Fallout fan that has played every Fallout game.
One star minus for the difficulty to install this mod on steam client and trying to get it to work reliably without crashing.
The method I used:
-Install Fallout 4 GOTY and run it once
-Install every mod they recommend with Vortex that you can and the rest manually
-Downgrade with FOLON
-Install London mod
-Install Faster loading times and remember to disable vsync from enb if you installed that too
-Copy the .ini's to the game directories
-Edit the .ini's with the new better launcher as you want
-Launch the game allways through f4se_loader.exe as an admin
I use Ryzen 5900X and Radeon 6900XT and everything is dialed up to the max they can handle.
Needed to download the Buffout mod from nexusmods for it to be playable but now that it is it's clear to see the passion that's been put into this game. Thank-you to everyone who contributed to this!
Absolutely no problem with the game, before of after train, etc.
And it is a gorgeous experience!
I installed it using the offline backup game installers (setup_fallout_london_v1.01_iv2.31r3_(64bit)_(75422).exe and 9 other .bin files).
No Fallout 4 from GoG but only Steam F4 goty, so then pure stand-alone installation without any external "pollution".
Don't use the Gog installer, stay classic and safe with the 10 files...
Amazing - One of the very best Fallout experiences!
Love this - the setting is excellent, the artwork is exceptional. They've managed to capture the Fallout feel but in a genuinely believable London setting. They've struck the perfect balance between keeping it similar enough to be familiar but different enough to be new and interesting. In lots of ways it feels more like Fallout 3 (especially the humour) than Fallout 4. I would have no idea this wasn't a professionally produced game if I didn't already know.
Stability? It's been OK with me. Installation (downgraded Steam version) was slow, but worked perfectly well. I had a few CTDs but these were fixed almost completely by Buffout 4 and they're now very rare, I can play for 2/3 hours with no issues. I've had to use console commands 3 times to further quests, but the fixes were available on Reddit so if you do get stuck you won't have to abandon a game.
Hopefully this is just the beginning of the mods we're going to see from this team - they've done an amazing job with this - it's way ahead of Starfield and sits only just behind NV as my favourite Fallout. Great work!
I have had a flawless experience with Fallout: London, not one crash or glitch, steps to reproduce at the base of this review. I am well past the train scene which is where people appear to be getting the crash, but as I say, i've not had so much as a single problem. I am running no other mods and have the simple GOTY edition.
Story and World are stellar, easily of a quality befitting a mainline fallout release, let alone a mod. Great details for anyone who knows london well. Gameplay is fantastic, I really can't fault this for anyone who is a fallout fan.
I am running on Linux (Pop OS Nvidia ISO 22.04), Gog installed through Flatpak Heroic Launcher, using flatseal I granted access to graphics acceleration and user files Just in case. Steps to install
1. Install Fallout GOTY & Fallout: London
2. Run fallout GOTY to main menu then quit
3. Click settings on Fallout london - Winecfg - Drives - New Drive - Map to /home/username
4. Click settings on fallout london - winetricks - default wine tricks - install DLL - Install faudio
5. Run fallout London
6. Point to /heroic/...fallout GOTY in the files & Install
7. Play without error
