The Rabbit & Pork DLC Update is here! Read the full changelog HERE.
Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

This mod is quickly becoming one of the only total conversions that I have had the desire to complete. The world building is top notch and the set pieces are equally stunning. The environments are more detailed than that of vanilla Fallout 4.
I did have technical issues starting out, even after the huge update that just launched in October. I fixed the issues that are most prevalent in the negative reviews as follows.
Constant crashing (especially after the train ride in the prologue): Switch the game to borderless fullscreen from the OG Fallout 4 launcher. This is under the Fallout 4 GOTY menu in GoG Galaxy
Insane load times: Download this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44798?tab=files and install the second option that is labelled for FOLON. You can edit the INI file to your liking, especially useful if you have high refresh rate monitor.
Fallout London, like all the great total conversion mods that came before it, is a very mixed bag. It blows anything Bethesda ever made out of the water in terms of writing, storytelling and dialogue, but in many other aspects it feels like a downgrade.
The story is amazing, the quests and factions are all well done, the dialogue and dialogue system is very New Vegas-esque, with plenty of skill checks and roleplaying opportunities. It really is better than any Bethesda Fallout in that regard.
However, like many of the great total conversion mods that came before it, London falls behind in one key aspect that Bethesda is still king at: world design.
Londons world design is dull and uninspired. There is very little in the way of environmental storytelling, random events and quests to stumble upon. It's also very big and empty, with points of interest spread so far apart with very little in them. The details and references to real life London are spot on, but obviously if you don't live in London all that will fly over your head.
The game is still very unstable, with random unavoidable crashes, long load times and bugs being present, and updates that do arrive come very very slowly. Lots of key features are still bugged with no fix in sight. Compared to the generally stable state of other big conversions like Enderal, it's a big dissappointment
Additionally, the attitude of some of the FOLON devs towards Bethesda really sours my opinion of the whole thing. Lots of needless antagonism and entitlement.
Overall, London is still worth playing as it's completely free and loaded with content, but be sure to manage your expectations. At the end of the day it's still a mod made by amateur volunteers, and it's very good as that. But it still falls short of many of the mainline Fallout games.
Its an amazing expansion espically for free and Id happily rate it 5 stars but I could never get it ti run no matter what I tried. I followed all instructions Clean istalls deleted all Fallout 4 files from orbit afterwards as well did away with Vortex managment everything. Shame casue I really wanted to play it.
Utterly brilliant game and as big as FO4 with a few DLS's. Incredible that such a small team (and quite a few other volunteers) created something for which Bethesda fore sure needed a LOT bigger team. Going to donate the 'AAA 'version of the suggested donations. BRILLIANT. And YES it still has its quirks and bugs...
love the game, played it , installed norton on my pc and now fol wont launch. i tried reloading gog, fol and fo4, but still wont launch. fo4goty launches and runs fine.HELP Folon
