The Rabbit & Pork DLC Update is here! Read the full changelog HERE.
Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary

Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

So far the Game Fallout London runs very well, except two not repeatable CTDs. But this also happens in vanilla game. I am also playing with some mods!. You must have English FO4-version 1.10.163.0 and all DLCs, which I downloaded from GOG. f4se is delivered by London install.
I have a serious problem with gameplay and story. No matter how many perks you have, you are very weak! FO4-London is some Stone Age with melee weapons and ranged weapons are rare. It is survival on the edge.
Very early in the game, you must save Ricky. You need 7 points!!! of Intelligence to heal him.
It is impossible to save Ricky without using Clarity-Classc = Mentats, when you have luckily 5 points Intelligence, including the "Purity" perk. - But when you use Clarity you get a penalty of -2 points on strength and endurance. In this Stone Age, this is a serious drawback. This is an example, how the game ticks. You play the game not with fun but with ambition. Beating an unfair hard game how so many others. At this stage, I am not happy.
But FO-London is looking good. Setting and visuals is everything.
It is a problem with many games including mods that the makers rather wants to make movies and not games.
I am writing this as someone with a steam version of fallout 4, so I had to do some work 🤓 But the info on the Fallout London site is good, the downgrader from nexus works great and with vortex it was easy to add the necessary mods (buffout, hight fps physics) Now Fallout London runs fine and it is a good game. Just wanted to say so to all people who made it possible, I am really enjoying my time in post apocalyptic London and I am very thankful that you made it possible!
True early Fallout feel, UK style! Loving this MOD, though in acuality it is a whole game and more expansive than a lot of DLCs. Top hat off to ya Team FOLON! Wonderful show!
Preamble - I installed Fallout 4 GOTY from GOG on an SSD, disabled cloud saves, and then installed Fallout: London over it as per the launcher. I've played for half a dozen hours with no crashes thus far. R7 5800X, 32GB DDR4-3200, RTX 3080 12GB.
Positives - amazing voice work, generous level of detail on many objects, feels like a fully-realized other part of the world that's different from MURICA. Feels like playing a fresh Fallout game.
Negatives - Significant loading times (30s or more going through a door), much lower performance than vanilla FO4 (likely due to the upgraded level of detail).
Suggestion - perhaps a mention at setup in GOG Galaxy to run the FO4 launcher and set up display settings prior to running Fallout London. The introduction scene probably would have had way more impact if it wasn't defaulted to potato settings at 720p.
Also, I swear if I even think too hard about the river I get an instant lethal dose of radiation. Just wow.
Overall, I'm hooked and considering calling in sick to work to play more of this!
I love the initiative and I consider the efforts of everyone involved truly admirable, but Fallout London is HIGHLY unstable, for saying the least.
The game wouldn't even start. After executing it, it immediately crashes, and the installation process is long and kinda confusing. And, though I have a somewhat low-end PC, seeing that most people is having issues with Fallout London made me realize it's the game's fault. Also, Fallout 4 itself never gave me any problems and worked it just right for almost 200 hours and with many mods.
So yeah, claim it, support the FOLON team, but wait for the game to be functional.
