Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

So, I have already spent 20 hours in the game and I can tell you something. Like many, I encountered a crash after the train, but after overcoming it, I did not notice any more critical crashes. I will start with the world of London. As for me, the map designers did a 100/10 job. The atmosphere is conveyed very coolly. Every corner of the world is worked out in detail. Stories from the terminals tell about the horrors of the civil war.
The tasks turned out to be quite strange. My first task was at the Priladog factory and it ended in a couple of dialogues. I didn't even understand what happened. There are a lot of named characters that you can't even talk to.
The role-playing component has changed a bit and I liked the changes. The balance in the game is quite strange. Ammo and medicine are very rare and you have to keep an eye on them. But when a normal radroach absorbs a bunch of bullets, it's puzzling. On the highest difficulty level, I didn't have any problems, but in terms of damage, I would like more realism.
There are also questions about optimization. The Fallout engine is not optimized enough. Knowing this, the developers stuck a lot of vegetation into the game, which is why my RTX 3060ti gives less than 30 frames per second.
Conclusion: the developers rushed the release. The game's balance is broken, optimization is poor, and the missions are pretty weak. I hope the developers will not pay attention to people who cannot cope with the installation, but will listen to those who provide constructive criticism.
Sorry for the auto-translation
Possesses all the attributes that made Fallout (and sequels) such great games. What's missing is stable software. So, the game gets 5 stars, software gets 1 star. HOWEVER, since the game currently is free, you gotta cut FOLON some slack. So, play away...and plan to update and/or reinstall on a regular basis, and don't be too upset when you can't finish a quest due to a bug. You just can't beat the value for the money (i.e., $0)!
Install the English version of Fallout 4: GOTY Edition via GOG GALAXY and disable your cloud saves.
It has to be the following version of Fallout 4 GOTY : 1.10.163.0 (no downgrade necessary with this release version). Check after installing that the version matches.
Get Fallout London in GOG store for free. The actual Fallout London Version v1.01 (IV2.31R3 PV1.01) has many bugs corrected.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions.
Then go to the installation directory and execute the "Fallout4Launcher.exe". Adjust graphic settings. Exit the Launcher again after changing the settings.
Now play Fallout London executing the "f4se_loader.exe"
I'm playing for quite some time, 36hours ongoing. It has become much stabler. There are bugs, and there will be some crashes (It's still a Bethesda Game). So save your game often.
It is a great experience.
For some more information: Bethesda released just about at the time Team Folon released their Full conversion MOD Fallout London, the updated Fallout 4 next gen. Those changes break the Full Conversion. It's neither Bethesda's nor Team Folon's fault the new version simply isn't compatible with the full conversion.
