Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.
There has never been a better time to sample the capital’s delights! Fallout: London lets you explore the wonders of the city 160 years after the bombs have dropped, and 40 years before the events of Fallout 3. You can now reimagine Fallout in a London-centric universe, interacting with a brave new world of London-based locations, stories, factions, creatures, weapons, and gameplay mechanics.
The Gentry-dominated London stands on a knife-edge, and you may be the key to which way the guillotine falls. Play a new story set in London with a fresh character beginning, numerous conflicting factions to engage with and multiple story paths and endings with up to 90 hours of gameplay. Just be aware of what terrible secrets you may uncover in the shadowy gaps amidst the halls of power.
Discover new weapons, creatures, clothing, items, collectables, architecture, foliage and NPCs to complete the London setting. Interact through the world with your custom Atta-boy, with a fresh interface based on the UK’s life-saving Protect and Survive nuclear information campaign.

One of the best mod this year
Absolutely brilliant! When you get all errors and pixelated things gone this is massive, one of the best fallout mods so far, test it is huge!

I tried some o the fixes the folon team listed on their discord. i have enough hadaches to eal with, i don't need another one. i might try again once they update with major fixes

So good games can still be made...
The love put into this game is obvious from the start. As an American, I do feel lifted into a place familiar but foreign. As a fallout player, I see New Vegas storytelling and dialogue with fallout 4 "vanilla plus" combat. The game feels harder than vanilla, demanding that I pick fights intelligently, use everything at my disposal (melee and ranged; real time and vats; stealth, cover, and reckless aggression as the situation dictates), and still leaving me feeling like I'm just scraping by. I think this adds a lot to the role play but can see where it might frustrate some players. I often have cynical moments in game where I want - in role-play - to do something that I "should" be able to do if I were really in the world, but know wasn't coded in. Several times in London I've been surprised to realize that the option really is there, or that an NPC really does care about what they say they care about and back this with actions. I am several hours in, but there are lots of little clues in the world about what might be possible later on - that I'm very excited about. I did have a couple crashes, but all but one was my own doing mangling the installation, in my case by allowing the BakaFramework.esm to get disabled in MO2 since I insist on modding a mod. On my bastard machine (windows install thrice transplanted to new hardware with skeletons of old hardware drivers shoved into corners, now running in a framework laptop with an external docked rx6800 and an ultrawide) the game is far from "unplayable" as reported elsewhere; I've had several multi-hour sessions which is about as good as a bethesda title ever is for me. Oh, I love the writing and voice acting so far. Even fetch quests feel meaningful, and I want to befriend the people I'm questing for.

I'm glad I didn't actually pay for this.
What an absolute buggy mess. I can see it's a great game underneath, a fantastic idea, looks amazing, love the voice acting etc but.... my oh my, this would be getting refunded sharpish if I'd actually bought it! I hope it will be fixed and I can soon change this to 5 stars! If this was a break up, I'd be saying "It's not me, it's you!"

Problem with offline installer
Unfortunately, 2+ hours trying to install this without success. No intention to use GOG client, Steam one is one too much already.
