Please note: With GOG GALAXY you can skip updates you dislike by either disabling the auto-update option (for your whole library or per game) or by using the Rollback Feature and choosing the game version that you want to have. If you're using Offline Installers, game updates are done manually and always up to you.

I'm just writing this so that GOG Galaxy will hopefully stop asking for a review every time I close the game.

Great gameplay with bugs
The game play in Fallout 4 is great. So much to do. Fighting, building, searching, following the story line, picking up quest...the game is awesome. That is, if it works without crashing. The game will play about 5-10 minutes then crash to the desktop. I have got pretty good at saving often but it starts to get anoying. To try to tackle the issue I opened the event viewer and it had plenty of errors to chose from. The first error was "The server Windows.Gaming.GameBar.PresenceServer.Internal.PresenceWriter did not register with DCOM within the required timeout." I went to the forums and found the power shell fix. That did seem to work at first but came back again and again.. and I had to run it again and again each time. The second error was "svchost (15692,R,98) TILEREPOSITORYS-1-5-18: Error -1023 (0xfffffc01) occurred while opening logfile C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Database\EDB.log. " This one has been more challenging. There is a article on PC Transformation that has many steps to fix this error but all have come to naught. I created the missing file however I cannot save it as read/write. It will only save as read only. The other suggesting did not find corrupted issues, restarting the Windows services did nothing and my computer is very up to date now. I have not had any issues with any of the other GOG games so... I guess it can be my computer... but I would think one of the other 103 games I have would also be having the same issues. So there you have it. Great game... if it works.

An old game but a great game. Vast game with plenty of gaming goodiness. Graphics hold up great. Game play is super.

Open World
To me, there is no better game than one that is open world. I've alreay put over 100 hours into Fallout 4, but I am no where near done. I love the freedom to wander around and take on so many different and exciting quests. This game is amazing!
