Obviously its an oold game,and there was a time i could have put up with the rubbish turnbased (braindead?) battle mechanics,probably when i was about 5yrs old and was unable to use my brain "on the fly",but after some banter on forum i thought i had to try it..so i did.
its worse than the first incarnation imo,least that "was a new thing".
Aside from the expected basic/old graphics,it comes across as a hybrid of reading a writers "first book" book and a game of "wheres wally",i can see why theres fanboys,in its day it would have been refreshing to get away from the brian bloodaxes and elites and llamas of the day.
unfortunately it isnt immersive enough for me,its own logic seems completely broken from the very start,im aspergic and pretty much everything i enjoy in life has to be based on multilevel logic,fo2 unfortunaterly is bit too imaginative for its own good and often defies any logic at all in the first instance, let alone this supposed "lore",a lot of which is just contrived nonsense.
think hubbard ;) ..ie get the fans to yell loud enough and eventually all that noise will force simpletons to believe it,join in and add to the noise and so it becomes what it isnt..
is why im chuffed im aspergic,none of that works on me. :)
btw:yelling "autist" etc at an aspie has zero effect lmao,just marks you out as a clone and we ignore clones ;)
