FAITH is a pixel horror game inspired by the era of classic 8-bit gaming and the "Satanic Scare" of the 1980s. Use your holy crucifix to perform exorcisms, fight back against possessed cultists, and cleanse haunted objects. Discover a world of dread, isolation, and mystery as you explore haunted forests, abandoned churches, and the inner sanctums of a Satanic cult.

Faith’s visual and mechanical variety, as well as its one-button simplicity, helps obscure whatever rules it operates by. Sometimes the “save” function briefly changes, and sometimes a pivotal moment takes place from the ordinary overhead camera view rather than in the elaborate rotoscoped cutscenes, just to keep you on your toes. Faith’s masterful sense of timing and mood create a truly rare feeling of persistent uncertainty where anything can happen. The game manages to be frightening because of its technical constraints rather than in spite of them.

This unsettling adventure is one of the most engrossing horror games in recent memory, despite the restrained visuals. Subtle sound design and a small but strong soundtrack as well as creepy rotoscoped scenes up the scary factor tenfold.

Best horror game i´ve played in a while

As far as simplistic this game looks, it manages to create really opresive situations and scenerarios where you will feel threatened and anxious, and it does not heavily rely on jumpscares like other "horror" games. Totally worth the price and hoping to see more playable experiences like this in the future.

A very unique horror game

I have yet to fully complete the game, but I am on the final chapter. It is a monderful experience that I would recommend to anyone that is interested in paranormal horror that involves religion in the mix. I loved every second that I played it.

Impressive

It's amazing how much was done with the low resolution and 5 buttons. Works really great on Linux as well.
