Slice through the dark and own the night in your Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk, the first operational aircraft to utilize stealth technology in its design. This isn’t your typical attack fighter, you’ll be flying sorties under the cover of night, avoiding detection by enemy radar and striking high-value targets with precision weaponry. You’ll want to haunt the battlefield like a ghost, menacing the enemy with earth-shattering ordnance before vanishing in your airborne apparition as suddenly as you appeared.

With a hardcore devotion to authenticity, F-117A brings you unprecedented night combat action. You’ll go through every phase of mission planning, from requesting a specific assignment during briefing to choosing your own munitions during armament, before then climbing into your cockpit and experiencing the thrill of dropping 1,000 lbs. of laser-guided destruction on enemy troops, tanks and bunkers. This is your chance to fly one of the most technologically impressive warplanes ever made.
  • Choose to fly either the U.S. standard issue Lockheed F-117A, with fully accurate weapon loadouts and realistic flight model, or a fictional MicroProse version that adds more destructive firepower and makes dogfighting more intense.
  • Fly your way through a diverse range of campaigns set in real-world “hot spots”: Cuba, North Korea, Kuwait, Central Europe, the North Cape, Libya, the Persian Gulf, Vietnam and the Middle East.
  • Unparalleled level of authenticity thanks to historically based scenarios from the Persian Gulf War, stealthy night combat, realistic HUD features and detailed cockpit graphics modelled after the real F-117A stealth fighter.

Murica, HECK YEAH!!

"Lt. Col. Sam Hyde, we have a mission for you. There are some socialist camel lovers in the desert that haven't installed a central banking system in their country or accepted any loans from the IMF. It's time to teach them the tenets of American democracy." Seriously though this game is so fun. I never played it when it came out, so I thought I would have a hard time learning how to play it. Actually, it's not too complicated. It reminds me of Euro Truck Simulator but you deliver bombs instead of cheese. The gameplay is tight, the graphics and aesthetically pleasing. Very much worth the $2 if you get it on sale.

Ah, a true Good old game !

At time it was very fun to play, with a lot of theatres, great graphics for 90' and good replayability. However while i like its 3d world, and the way radars catch you, I'm not so happy with the simulation of the fly. I never belive I'm in an aircraft.... Another thing you can dislike is the scenario, good old USA against bad commies and their allies, add to it Irak and you get the point.... Still a game you will have a lot of fun, even nowdays if you spend enough time !

No way!!

What a deliciously pleasant surprise to see this gem arrive to the already magnificent stable of GOG. Man, all the countless hours I spent on this marvelous game, first in C64, later in PC... Here's hoping for further expansion of the old Microprose classics, F-15 III Strike Eagle, Fleet Defender, Gunship and so on and so forth! Hooray!

Brilliant

Along with F-15 and F-19, this was one of my first pc games. Difficulty to suit you, long or short missions, as much or little action as you want. Buy it, love it.

So many memories

High concentrations of Nostalgia per megabyte. If you are a modern gamer and you never played it back then I really dont know if it survives the test of time anyhow, but for those of us who played it in the 90´s this is one of "the classics".
