The Sound of EVERSPACE™ – Enjoy a huge variety of eery ambient space sounds made up of electronic synthesizers and real-life audio samples, classical themes, punchy rock riffs, electronic piano tunes, and songs accompanied by floating backing vocals. Driving beats, odd time signatures, and the use of some bizarre “instruments” like a tiny plastic guitar and a drum kit made of chairs and sofas always keep things interesting. This original soundtrack contains more than 60 tracks (FLAC and mp3 format), adding up to a duration of over three hours in total.
The Art of EVERSPACE™ – Discover a romanticized interpretation of space with vibrant colors, fantastic visual effects, spectacular planets, and beautiful space backdrops that leave you in awe. It is combined with a cool, yet functional looking technical design for space ships and other man-made structures. This digital artbook contains 48 pages of full-colored art work. It is only available in English.
EVERSPACE™ Wallpapers – Space up your desktop with 10 carefully retouched wallpapers in 4K (3840 x 2160 px) and in Full HD (1920 x 1080 px).

After browsing these reviews I noticed that most people are complaining about content and/or price, and nothing about the game itself. I have the game on another well-known platform, and it's okay. Nothing fancy, but not terrible. Let's make GOG great again by posting reviews that actually review the game (graphics, soundtrack, load times, fun factor, compatibility, etc) instead of rambling about pricing and distribution policies. Thanks!
If you want to support the developer buy it at full price. If you don't like the content, just skip it. It's not the end of the world. If you want to buy cheaper, I think that the discounted price (-80%) is more than reasonable.
This goes against everything GoG used to stand for. Still a good site but slowly slipping towards the same practices that make steam today the unreliable platform it is.
I absolutely love EVERSPACE and so I decided to get the upgrade (discounted at the time to $4). Ok so the wallpapers are not particularly background worthy except for the one of the ringed planet which I currently have set as my background. The rest are just not that cool although I guess thats a matter of pure personal preference but honestly the wallpapers themselves are not that much cooler than you just running the game at 4k and taking some screenshots yourself.
I did enjoy the artbook and I really wish they put that kind of artistic rendering into the 4k wallpapers but sadly the wallpapers are essentially rendered from the game itself.
The OST is cool in-game but I tried listening to just the stand-alone audio included with the upgrade and its just not something any music fan would find themselves listening to on a regular basis, even as background music for studying or something its just awkward/not the right genre of music for background unless you want to do homework and have some random suspense music kick on haha. Really, Id say this should either come included with the purchase or maybe be worth $2.
So in short, if you really, really love this game buy this DLC just for the artbook when its on sale, otherswise its just not worth the price for most people.
