Developers censor criticism they dislike
Unfortunately, unlike their first game which was apolitical, this game gets woke. They introduce the first female character by having the male characters become incompetent and get dominated. The first time I mentioned this the thread was closed within minutes. After speaking out about the censorship on platforms the devs don't control their community manager was finally willing to talk, and I thought we had sorted things out. Before that happened though, they had tried to group multiple closed threads into one to make it appear as though there was an actual conversation and frequently lied through their teeth about the situation, kept trying to order me about, made various threats. I even got an email from twitter about the german government being reported about me but that's supposedly standard procedure on twitter when someone in germany tries to get you banned. Later on one of their moderators stalked me on other platforms, I got in touch with the community manager again and was told the moderator hadn't forgiven me for speaking out about the devs censoring criticism. The community manager also tried to give me a guilt trip over it. Apparently blowing the whistle is a heinous crime they never let go and I'm their boogey man to this day. I had thought, however, the original understanding that they wouldn't engage in censorship again still stood, but after having another thread deleted, welp, I'm done. I never should have backed these devs, they're great at making games but failures at human decency. To give a little perspective, a thread I made where the opening post talks about naming a ship 'The 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre' was of course ignored. Other threads demanding things like making the protagonist female were ignored. Their problem isn't politics, it's opinions the devs dislike and the agenda is obvious.
