A dead man’s soul cries out against the force of a ferocious blizzard. He cries for help. He cries for answers. Then he screams as he is torn apart like damp tissue paper. This wasn’t the first time, and it won’t be the last.
The police are powerless to stop it, so the duty falls to the only ones who can. What force could be so powerful – and so malevolent – that it would destroy the very core of a life in order to get what it wants? Rosa Blackwell and Joey Mallone mean to find out, even if it means risking themselves in the process.
The thrilling conclusion to the Blackwell series.
Longest Blackwell game yet.
Two player characters with unique abilities – switch between ghost Joey and living Rosa.
Not perfect game, I didn't like the pacing in the middle section of the game, still, likeable characters, good voice acting.
I am sure if someone played the Blackwell series, they should play the conclusion of the series.
Not the best in series, but good !
I've written a review on the other 4 games. They're brilliant and you can see WadjetEye have pulled out the stops on this one. The animation is incredible and detailed, the story rich and longer than the others. The ending, just SO good.
Get the series, finish them, fall in love and then definitely get this last of the installment. It's a classic and rates as one of the historically best adventure game series. I've been playing these since Leisure Suite Larry 1 and I can tell you, this is the real deal. Well done WadjetEye games. Bravo!
I really loved the plot and mechanics of the game.
Voice acting, graphics and music was on such a high level!
I wish some fonts in the game were less pixilated since sometimes it was hard to make out what the text was... but all in all I highly recoomend this game to anyone who loves puzzles and great story telling !
This is honestly a damn good game. Maybe not an alltime great, but a pretty solid one in it's own right. However, the real strength here is just how good the writing is and how much of a great final tone for the whole 5 game long epic this really is. If you've been with Rosa and Joey this far, you owe it to yourself to finish it.
However, between the game really needing a little help to figure out what the devs were thinking form time to time and really doing yourself a disservice should you like the game and want to play the earlier ones, I would also say this is probably the only time you SHOULD play this one. It's not because it's bad. It's far from, but it really is that much of a spoiler to the earlier games. Rather this is a grand finale and should be treated as such.
