Great game, great memories
I remember playing this game years ago and this was one of the best RTS for me. I do not buy it only becauseI have dvd release.

Earth 2150 is one of the best RTS games
Extremely high level of customization, It manages to convey a sense of urgency to all of your missions. Where decisions you make have an effect later on in the games. Not only does it have weather and day/night cycles but they actually matter. During a night attack you can turn off your units' lights and surprise the enemy. The graphics have aged very well too. What's not to like?

The dullest of the trilogy
If you are looking for a relaxed, casually slow gameplay experience, this game will absolutely ravish you and steal some cab money from you when it is done. Despite the tedious alien gameplay in 2160, this game is the most tedious one. There is a ton to do and the game gives zero hints about how to do them right. This is also the first game where the unit management became sluggish and irresponsive to the quick movement orders, effectively killing the point of skillful unit management. Overall, the graphics are okay, the battle music will haunt your nightmares and the whole game feels like a gainless grind. Playing through the Moon Project LC campaign was one of the most pointless playing experiences ever and the experience of the other two iterations is not any better. Get 2140 instead if you want to have fun or 2160 if you care about the plot or interesting campaign content. This game is ideal practice for South Korean pro players. The fun factor 1/10. Try some demo first.

CLASSIC INNOVATIVE RTS!
I remember when I was introduced to this game back in 2001, upon being told Total Annihilation wasn't in stock. I remember staring at box screen shots thinking to myself, "well, it looks good, but something this good looking probably has like 5 units". I was SO wrong! I'd put this right up there with Total Annihilation and any other RTS I'd list under "BEST GAMES OF ALL TIME"! Kohan, Warzone 2100, Escape Velocity Nova and Earth 2150 all have this wonderful modular mechanic and I hope we will continue to see it implemented for decades to come.

Wonderful game, but....
....but English dubbing is so annoying! Polish voices was far more better. If you ever had chance to use Polish dubbing - do it. Game itself is really nice. Best part of Earth 21xx series. Great atmosphere, nice gameplay - and of course custmizable units :)
