Not really worth it`
With modding, the original NWN2 holds up. The new graphics and spell effects aren't really enough to justify the purchase.

Poorly changes
I have the original game in gog. Recently I started playing the main campaing, and all is fine, works for me but I decided pre order this enhanced version. Well, after give it a try, there are things that have made request a refund: -camera control: worst than the original and with gamepad theres no option to change sensitivity, so if you force the controls, it goes mad. No control at all. Its frustrating. -The font size changes if you play with gamepad or mouse, in chat windows. With gamepad it looks bigger and with mouse it looks very small. Theres no option to adjust the font size. This is a mess. Its quite annoying. -There are some positive changes in what you see in screen, more refined and polished graphics. This is not a remaster. Thats it. Plus, menus like inventory looks better. But for me, like a said, old version works fine. At this state doesnt worth it. Especially if you have the original. Maybe they will patch it, I dont know. Its a great game that deserved something more than a few aesthetic changes, a true remaster.

Very crude
In short, the developers for this game did the bare minimum. I'll list a few examples I've already noticed in the prologue. The camera controls have improved slightly, but they remain clunky and uncomfortable at best. Loading times, even on SSDs, are longer than those of more recent games, such as Tainted Grail Fall of Avalon. The graphics are nice but nothing special, and you have to skip five cutscenes to get to the main menu. The companion AI is out of a horror movie; if you attack their own target, they'll immediately attack a different one, while combat turns into stadium brawls, with mages activating their AI and immediately using up all their spells. Another gem is that on both Steam and GoG, the quick save button is the same as the screenshot button, and you can't even change it—really embarrassing. In the end it's neither more nor less than the old Neverwinter Nights 2, I got it for about 20 euros and it already seems excessive to me, draw your own conclusions.

Clunky at best
LOVE the original NWN2 and own several copies, this seems more clunky and harder to navigate than the original. Also the loading screens are slower than the original back when I played the game on an outdated potato. The graphics don't really look or feel much better. What exactly did they do again besides made the menus 100% worse? To be honest it feels more like an android port than an enhanced pc game.

A $30 Patch
Asper continues its history of bad ports and updates on the games it touches. Let me be blunt. There are no major updates of any kind from the complete edition. Not only that but everything they did do was done much much better by modders. If asper did nothing but buy the rights to these mods and release that It would have been better then what we got. Do not waste your money.
