Don't Do it
Save yourself the pain, don't buy it. This remaster is a buggy mess, SoZ is unplayable crashes when you get off the beach. After about 10 Hours of the main campaign the game crashes when you try and load. Play the original if you have the itch patch it with community patches i'll wait till this game gets patched and play again, IF it becomes more stable with updates i'll change my review.

My First impression
I bought this as a long time NWN Fanand started playing this on Juli 21st. What i like, so far: -Gamepad Ui What i dont like, so far: EDIT 29.09.2025 (-German Voices for the overworld dont work. Almost all player character voices and all npc voices outside of cutscenes are english.) * Seems to got patched with RC11, will take a closer look at that point! -Option Menu was slimed down big time. For Example, i like to play NWN 2 Classic with Player Camera and so that the camera follows the character when turning. No Option for that and many options more are missing. Conclussion, for now: If it wasnt for the Gamepad Ui, i would Stick to the Classic NWN 2 Complete Edition. Maybe there will be some patches but right now, the game feels like a Downgrade Edition.

Does Not Play
The Enhanced Edition does not work beyond one opening of the game. When I attempt to play the game after the first loading of the game, I get my cursor with major afterimages of that cursor (similar to the old '90s afterimages) that do not go away. The game does not load. I have attempted to reinstall the game with no luck. I have looked online for solutions and have had no luck. I will happily write another review if this just needs a patch or update to ACTUALLY work, but right now, the game is unplayable.

keeps crashing
Since i arrived at the docks area its been non stop crashing,either during combat or on map transistion. Also can mess with you're last save game forcing you to go back a save.
