The gameplay does not in any way resemble any edition of D&D and the Eberoon theme was clearly tacked on as an afterthought.

Kael useless...
In Chapter 3, Lady Marryn disappears (best of the heros in my opinion), I chose Kael to spare Rogues in my battles groups. He can disarm traps but not open ant chests? What kind of a training did he get, throwing knives all day? What a hero... However, since he is always in the shadows its a great unit to collect shards. Just put him somewhere, where the thunder comes down and you have a constant flow of income. Other than that, very enjoyable! Generic cut-scenes similar to NWN if you finish or start a chapter. Nice story so far, cannot complain. Oh and its an ATI game, so 100% compatible with wine on AMD Radeon etc. :)

HOrrible RTS No classic D&D
What a joke LOL. I have played a lot of RTS and a lot of D&D CGs.....this game sucks. The RTS is a horrible and tedius, the character development is...there is none. story, customization? It all sucks. 100% linear too...which can be okay with a good story and some kind of interesting combat or SOMETHING....DId I mention the designs of the toons is completely horrible..what are we 3 years old here???? COMPLETE FAIL

Performance problem
For a game this old, it should be easy to set everything on max right? Wrong. The game lags quite much, specially on scrolling, and the cause are actually grass and cloth animation. Game's quite good tho and you can turn em off (grass and cloth animation)
