Great game Seems to work this far
Played a couple of hours now with the GOG provided hw patch on win 7 and no problems of all. Love the game this far

Great Game, I believe it's fixed
DK 2 was one of the few pre-2000's games that really hook me up for more than +400 hrs. It's addictive gameplay and freedom are subpar compared to other games of the genre/time. When GOG first released the game, it was plagued with bugs, but as soon as they released the hotfix, the game runs smooth as it could... You can buy it without any trouble because it's WORTH every penny you put on it... Cheers....now if you excuse me, I have some heroes to "entertain"

Works now!
Works perfectly on Windows 8 x64! (Contrary to other reviews, getting full 60 fps main menu and 30 fps gameplay as it should be)

Works but Flickers

Tasty, tasty nostalgia
It's delightful to have DKII back. It's a delightful time-devourer with a sense of humour, a reasonably long campaign, and a hefty fistful of sandbox levels. Also, imp-slapping (that's not a typo). Some people have mentioned problems with it running on Win7, but I've not experienced anything like that. Your mileage may vary, but just a note to let folks know that crashiness on Win7 is not guaranteed.
