works on my 64bit windows 7

This version from gog works on my 64bit windos 7 version. I did nothing but installing my gog download and it functions great! I was sceptical at first, because of the many negative reactions, but it turned out to be fine. And I didn't have to tweak anything.

So Good

While it may crash, flicker, or have some memory leak issues, this game is just too good for any of that to matter. If you're having issues running it on Windows 7, try the following: * Turn off Aeros * Right click the shortcut and go to compatibility mode * Run it in Windows 2000 mode > check all but the first box > run as admin * Go to the target window (the place that shows where it's running from) and add the following: -softwarefilter -32biteverything -disablegamma * Run the game and make sure it's in 800x640 * Uncheck all boxes and turn shadows to 0 This should help quite a bit, but there will still be a few issues. Just work through them and enjoy the damn game.

Great

A classic game.. Just to let everyone know it's working perfectly on Windows 8 with these Compatibility mode settings , XP SP3, 640x480, Disabled display scaling, Run as administrator. Plays flawlessly.

Update Works Great!

Speaking specifically about the port, GoG has done a great job. Currently running on 64x Windows 8 and runs perfectly, do freezes, no black screen like the versions found online, GoG have really done it proud. Thanks!
