installed keeperfx and this game is amazing again, thank you to the author of the walkthrough for how to update this release

I remember playing this back-in-the-day when it first came out. Gems like this often get left in the rubble of technology of long ago. I'm not much for the modern games, too much fluff, not enough substance, like a cup of Caffeine-free coffee Thank you GoG for resurrecting a classic, and many others like it.

I Loved this when I was younger,it still stands up as a great game today. The sound on Windows 10 is awful, it might be better on another OS but for me I had to mute the game. Probably going to download Theme Park and Hospital as well, if the sound is out on them it's probably Windows 10 playing up.

First, for those who believe that the Deeper Dungeons is not included in this set: it is. The link to the "dungeon keeper gold" takes you straight to the normal game, so to find the deeper dungeons you need to find where you haver installed this game. I found it in my Start menu tab. It's there, so don't you worry bout a thing. Other than that, as far as I can see, this is the good old game that I spent time on in the past. I don't see anything better, nor worse, so if you're coming back to this game you have NO draw back. If you on the other hand come for this as a new player, low and behold the Dungen Keeper. It's something else than the normal strategy games out there. I love that for once you're playing as the bad guy. Love you, Bullfrog!

This is one of the best games ever made. Gameplay, graphics, sounds, HUMOR!, after 2-3 levels it will grab you and it won't let go. There are not many games out there with that kind of charm. At first it's a citybuilder. The incarnation of your will are the "Imps", magical creatures you make. They don't need gold, sleep or food, they will dig out your dungeon and obey any command. Without Imps your fucked. You dig out your "base", creatures will inhabit the dungeon. you have to train and manage those minions. at this point your in sim-mode, managing your established dungeon and dwellers, learning new powers as a supernatural ruler. At some point your realm will be attacked by heroes form the outside or another keepers will contest you. the game now becomes more aggressive and RTS like, you have to dig info unknown territory for more resources to grow your army. your using traps and magic to help your minions in battle against your enemies. enslaved foes can be tortured for information (map location of foe) or even "persuaded" to fight for your side (not bad to have a gandalf on your team). After crushing your enemies your free to explore the rest of the realm and even finde secrets to hidden levels or the ability to take the strongest of your creatures with you to the next level. For the best experience download the fanexpansion "KeeperFX". dungeon keeper 2 is alright, but nowhere near the charm of the first game.
