Dungeon keeper is one of those games where you play it once and gives the thirst for more. There is one goal in this game, defeat pesty human knights and conquer their places.
The resource is just gold, for building the needs for your dungeon and even spells.
Such an easy understanding... a must play for every rts geek.
Do this before playing!
-Increasing resolution and gaining some mercy on your eyes by clicking "ALT + R" ingame, the game will be lagging, to reduce this edit the file "dosboxDK.conf" and change the following "cycles=80000" to "cycles=max".
-Because the game is in dos emulator, using "ALT + F12" will give you fast forward. (google dosbox shortcuts for more info)
Liked parts:
-You are evil, slap your working imps to let them work faster, level up your creatures to conquer the lands for your needs.
-There is a spell that allows you to go in first person view and control your minion, this is just amazing!
-Missions that are interesting, that will just keep you interested for a long period, took me 25 hours!
-Sound, picking up creatures, torturing your enemy or mistress, chicken slapping, all of them just makes a statisfying atmosphere... weird.
-Must explore the caves completely! You will find transfer question mark boxes. This will allow you the transfer one of your selected minion to be moved on the next level.
Disliked parts:
-Mission NEVERGRIM, oh my lord, it is unbeatable. Use transfer creature boxes!
-Last mission, called skybird, once you think it is over, just wait and see. Try to convert the last enemy boss called the avatar!
-Traps, these are just so irritating and overpowered, to disable them your imps have to convert the ground it is standing on, so it will take sacrifices.
Neutral:
-Save game limit is just to low.
-No level editor included.
-Temple cheat codes are never given. (search DK temple recipes)
All in all, a must play for peeps that likes making base, level up your creatures and dominating your enemies. Just smashingly evil.
