Evil is afoot in Menhir Forest. The druids, the caretakers of the woods, are troubled: their archdruid has disappeared under deeply suspicious circumstances, and a cancerous growth of purple cysts is spreading, carrying corruption and sickness wherever they appear. It takes a special kind of hero to save the day. Or maybe more than one.

Set in a unique fantasy world, Druidstone is filled with ancient lush forests, standing stones, snow-topped mountains, deadly creatures and puzzle-ridden ruins. If the story was not for children...
Great gameplay that keep me playing the game even that I found the story annoying. Is not bad, but I feel is created for a childrens and young adults.

A sad experience, a disappointing game
I bought this game because the team was the same as Grimrock. After 5 scenarios I quit. The game is boring, there is no atmosphere, the graphic is too colorful, the characters are not customizable, the music is annoying and after a while you turn it off. But the worst thing is the gameplay: boring, repetitive, slow, the enemies respawn, the difficulty...at normal level the game is very difficult. I do not say anything about the story because after a short time I left the game but it seems the usual fantasy stuff. I expected much better from the Grimsrock's team, I hope they will now get back to work on Grimrock 3.

Normies=Zombies hatte mich gewarnt. Er schrieb eine sehr ausführlich review unteranderem das hier: Timed missions, infinitely spawning enemies, single and scripted way of finishing fights, uncustomizable characters, story that could be written on the back of a post-stamp and still leave room for illustration, unbearable annoying music, and difficulty balance that reminds you every second that it's unfair to be born. Ich dachte mir, dass wird schon alles nicht so schlimm und blöd sein. Jung lag ich falsch. Das Spiel ist langweilig, hart und unfair. Was für eine beschiessene Kombination.

wasted money
I trusted the authors to have created a good game no matter the reviews. I was wrong. The nicest thing I can say about this is a botched updated Hexplore. Everything is wrong here: writing, RPG elements,... No, that's not right. The game is stable and the graphics are okay. Still, that is a norm nowadays, so no stars for that. Horrible game and a waste of money and time.
