After a deadly circus fire shatters his world and tarnishes his name, Dropsy the Clown finds himself on a journey of self-discovery through a story that harnesses powerful themes of love and kindness. With his father gravely ill and the world turning its back on a once happy-go-lucky clown, Dropsy will need to help those in need, hug total strangers, and unravel dark and shameful secrets from his past on the way to redemption. Oh, and Dropsy can also talk to animals.
Dropsy is a non-traditional take on the classic point and click adventure formula starring the game’s perpetually carefree namesake clown as he explores a richly detailed world full of colorful characters and sinister secrets, doling out hugs along the way. Rather than lead players on a singular narrative path, players are free to choose which avenues of adventure they want to explore in an open world setting and can piece the puzzles and story together however they choose.

Dropsy's resolve to bring back the old school point n' clicker is a success, though it's perhaps a bit too successful, given the overreaching ambiguity in certain areas. Even in spite of its tendency to obstruct the player, it's a beautiful, bewildering, unforgettable game of hugs, love, and hollowing sadness.

Total hidden gem!
Played on steam. Man such a lovely cute terrifying happy nightmare game with so much heart from the pixel art to all the atmospheric perfect music. Dont miss out. Buy at full price if you can its totally worth it.

Best soundtrack since Space Funeral
Like I said, nice soundtrack. Maybe it's the cassette thing but gotta recall Maniac Mansion but with less dying. I'd have to assume this game was a labour of love, and there are emotional parts throughout. Couldn't have enjoyed it more, This artists new feature is about Netscape era internet.

Please be sure to see the strategy!
First of all, I didn't finish everything. I watched the process video clearance on the video website. This game is great, really great. But the hidden details and huge collection make me feel uncomfortable. You will miss a lot of great details, and it is really hard to find tips and props without looking carefully. Can't we comfortably make a good linear click game? Instead of this uncomfortable collection, it's good to give players a perfect strategy. How interesting the game is at first, how uncomfortable it is later I originally wanted to give five stars, but now I can only give three stars. People who like it will still like it
