I am truly loving the game figuring out all of the mechanics and monsters. It is a soothing game yet will have you at the edge of your seat when you need to make a run for it. Extremely fun game coming from a person that had spent their childhood years only playing single player games and more recently completely doing a 180 and finding myself only playing multiplayer games. This is a game that I will definetely be playing more often, it has brought back such a nostalgic feel for videos games that I personally haven't felt in a really long time.
I like the Lovecraftian tale, and this one is beautifully realised. It's a simple game on the surface with pretty simplistic mechanics that all tie together to make an enticing experience. It delivers a story in concise interactions and builds the more you enguage with it. Want to just fish and treasure hunt.. sure.. want to delve into the unknown depths.. theres that too.
... while exploring and hunter for new species or the next better upgrade.
It's always "just" the next one :)
