Horrible technical problems
Good game for the most part, but it crashes all the time. Tried several things, but it just keeps happening. Can't recommend at all.

One of my favorites
This is rated M for a reason. If you're coming from Veilguard, don't expect that vibe or... well, you're going to understand pretty quickly what people are meaning when they say that game is "Disneyfied". Veilguard is more light-hearted with dark moments. Origins is dark with light-hearted moments. So be aware of that if you're coming from VG. The writing is quite strong here, but some parts are better than others. Trigger warnings for SA, slavery, mass murder (also two instances where it's in a genocide flavor), magical lobotomies, euthanasia, body horror, animal death, alcoholism, trafficking, racism (mostly against elves), classism, the Fade, arachnophobia, claustrophobia, and more.

Dest Dragon Age ..
I have spent in this game more than 150 hours and i have finished it at least 2 times. It is one of the best games i have ever played. Story was great and the characters were perfect. Whoever until now has not played it , give it a try. With mods also the graphics are a little better.The gameplay is the best in the series.

Overall a great game
Loved playing it. The combat isnt my favorite, but managable. The characters are amazingly written and I enjoyed the witty dialogues - its a must for me to enjoy a game (nothing worse than bad writing). Still there were some issues like the combat or - as some here said - crashing. After spending 10 minutes looking into it on the internet (you know, where all the information is easily gathered) you had a great solution. Even for the crushed save files. It doesnt even take 10 minutes and after that I never had any crash again. So if you are having the problems, feel free to jump on Google and help yourself. Its really not that hard. I know it should not be there, but Windows can be a pain and if you want to play it, why not invest some time for a solition instead of... what do I say :)
