Top entertainment

If you liked the first Amnesia: The Dark Descent installment, but most of all if you liked its DLC, "Justine", you'll be incredibly delighted with this little game. It's very entertaining, and has that hallucinatory quality that only some Polish game developers (Bloober, I'm looking at you!) can create. A very satisfying little game from a company who shows plenty of potential. It's gorey, it's imaginative, it looks kinda cheap, it surprises you.... I say YES.

Dark Story

If you follow along with the notes and environmental clues this is an incredibly dark story. I thoroughly enjoyed my playthrough, which took about 4 hours. Well worth it!

Dark very dark

well, this is a title i wasn't even sure about it. It turns out it isn't that bad and i really liked the voice of the antagonist. Besides that, lots of puzzles. Some are easy, some require more thinking. One thing is you can't go back. Once you pass through a section that loads the next level so to speak you are there. Overall i think its a good title. Graphics are fine and when playing as a child it makes a lot of sense. Its a rather short game but entertaining nonetheless. Is it worth 10$? I think it is. The whole point of the game is to follow a child that is in captivity and find your way out. And i can't imagine to be there as a child. Is it scary enough? :)

Wasting the player's time

There is no way to save the game and return to where you left off. Instead there are only a few points where the game is auto-saved. If you finish the game with the bad ending and would like to try to get a different ending you would have to start the game all over from the beginning! Needless to say, this is a problematic design choice for anyone with a somewhat busy schedule. However, if you have no real world obligations, don't value your time and like repetitive tasks, this might be the right game for you.
