Like many, I watched the trailer for this game and expected a good amount of puzzles that would take a fair amount of time and brainpower to complete. Unfortunately, everything you see in the trailer is all there is to this and the ending appears very abruptly. I will go into more detail below:
Puzzles: The primary premise of this game is to activate a light trigger or pressure plate in order to pass through a wall of light, allowing you to enter the next area. This is completed by using a solid brick, lazer splitter, or a slider mechanism. After the first two areas it becomes really clear on how to fly through the rest of the game. There are far less puzzles than I had expected, leading to a very short playtime of around 20-30 minutes.
Environment: The environment itself looks really nice, but I do wish there was more to it. Most objects cannot be interacted with and will just be there to get in the way of moving your blocks.
Plot: The storyline itself is comprised of a series of notes that unlock automatically as you proceed through the game. I feel like the plot itself could have been fleshed out a lot more by adding optional areas or collectibles. You can also play through the entire game without thinking there even is a plot as it plays almost no part in what you are trying to accomplish in each area. The ending itself also felt very abrupt, to the point to where I thought I had missed something.
Overall: This is a very short game with a fairly basic puzzle premise. The plot itself is there, but plays almost no part in what you are doing. Everything the trailer shows, is exactly what is in the game. I'm giving this 2 stars as the environment itself does look nice and there is a little thought behind the puzzles, but I would enjoy this a lot more if it was more fleshed out.
