In Divinity:Original Sin you take on the role of a young Source Hunter: your job is to rid the world of those who use the foulest of magics. If you want the RPG with the most skills, the most stats to consider, and a world that constantly makes meaningful use of every line on your character sheet, there's nothing else quite like Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition. You can find RPGs that are prettier, more accessible, or less busy, but very few are as dedicated to the true spirit of role-playing as this one is.

Stunning
Both of the Divinity games keep me coming back for some reason. Whilst Baldur's Gate 3 is the big game that exploded in popularity and I played other CRPGs as well... This one is close to my heart and still one of my personal favourites to return to. Thank you Larian for this comfort game.

Divinity Original Sin
The game is solid mechanically and offers a good tutorial dungeon very early into the game. If you are playing this game after Baldur's Gate 3 or DOS 2 you will already have a grip of how Larian makes their RPG's but otherwise you won't have to worry. Whilst I haven't gotten so far into the game as of yet I can say that the premise is interesting in that you are trying to solve a murder involving a magic called source. The music is amazing, the game isn't that hard in the beginning and you will be able to tell very fast if it is something for you or not.
