There are few RPGs I'd dare to call essential, but Divinity: Original Sin 2 stands out among all others as deserving of that accolade. It's undoubtedly one of the best tactical and role-playing experiences you'll ever have on any platform.

Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition is so complex that I think everyone will find something to like, whether it's combat or an exciting story. The best thing I can say about it is that if I'm asked what I liked about it, I can't pinpoint something. It's the complete experience and the feeling of joy that it left behind.

very fun after BG3
I've been looking for a game to get into since finishing BG3. Not quite on BG3's level so far, but very close. I look forward to the next 100 hours in this world.
