I. LOVe. MY. DIVINITY.

if you want a mindless game with DICE-ROLLS, No Story, No Atmosphere, No Wisecracks, Multiplayer, Co-Op, CHAT????, No Brains, Handholding and Tower Defense, go elsewhere. Divinity has quirks, class, and a crack load of wishes were horses. if you like thinking about what to do next, enjoying a long battle with a crapload of orcs just for the sake of watching them all drop dead and taking their booty, please, please, play this game. It's beautiful. The art is awesome, the isometric view is PERFECT... i could go on. It's the stuff my dreams were made of. i worry about the sequels though. Why do they always ahve to -IMPROVe- everything? It's maddening.

Still current and extremely satisfying.

I picked this one up on a whim like some others did below and I was really surprised by how great this game is. It's like they took everything good about ARPGs and packaged them into a single game with an engaging storyline and expansive world. Combat is challenging and occasionally you will find that you've bitten off more than you can chew but it's never to the point where you have to go off and grind to unlock the next part of the story. Even though there is a map to see where you might need to go, there is still an element of exploration and mystery to solve without too much hand holding. It's a really well balanced game in so many different aspects. Even in terms of crafting potions for example, you have to work it out for yourself and so on. Even when this game is at $5 price, it is definitely worth every penny.

Fantastic climate, interesting story

I had lots of fun while playing, did not encounter any bugs. Story is interesting, world huge, I liked the skill system very much. Graphically the game looks good and the locations are detailed, together with soundtrack it creates a unique atmosphere of a problem ridden world. Difficulty level is adequate, with couple of harder moments (I have played as a mage). I would recommend the game to anyone that is into classical RPGs.

Larian Games is One Of Best RPG Studios

This game is better than Diablo. Yes, I said it. They have similar gameplay mechanics with hack and slash. However the story and choices are what really shine. This was Larian Games first game they made and it tells a great story and has lots of choices combined with the gameplay style similar to Diablo. This has a way better story and characters and sidequests than Diablo has, though. This is a different style than the newer Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2 but I recommend all Larian games and if the stories of all the Divinity games so I also recommend if yiu have only played those and don't mind slighlty dated graphics and hack and slash style play to play this as you will be missing part of the story if you skip this and the other Divinity series games. Definitely recommend. Larian Games are one of few good studios out there that haven't been driven by greed and make just great stories and games.

An addicting time sink

It's a huge detailed open world in the style of diablo. Once this game kinda grows on you, it's hard not to be an absolute completionist, vacuum cleaning the whole map off of it's items you "eventually need" and hours later find out this game has quests as well. Worst part is probably the inventory, things lap over another making smaller items inaccessible. The worst (or best part) is that i never finished it and probably never will. 5/5
