Engaging and rich storytelling.
The story is so compelling I inhaled the game the 1st time I played so the rating recomendation didn´t pop up. It has an incredibly high replay value and every tweak to the main character will open new possibilites and dialogues.

Great narrative RPG.
Take your time, don't stress too much over choices, just enjoy the story and continue however you want. Strangely chill and really fun, with a very distinctive aesthetic and atmosphere. This is an RPG where almost all the skill checks are narrative, dialogue and non-physical, though there are some. This is is a narrative RPG.

Disco Elysium isn’t just a game - it’s an experience. You play as a broken-down detective trying to solve a murder while battling your own demons. The world of Revachol is packed with history, politics, and fascinating characters, and every conversation feels important. Instead of traditional combat, the game is all about choices and dialogue. Your character’s thoughts and skills - like logic, empathy, or even a love for booze - shape the way you play. No two playthroughs are the same because you can approach everything in so many different ways. The art is gorgeous, the soundtrack is haunting, and the voice acting in The Final Cut version makes it even better. It’s rare to find a game this smart, funny, and emotionally deep. If you love great storytelling and unique gameplay, Disco Elysium is a must-play.
