A Dull Lecture on Existential Philosophy
I got this game with high hopes and it was a huge disappointment. There’s no combat, no strategy and no puzzles. It’s not a CRPG as people say but a visual novel or a point and click game. The story is confusing. The dialogue is very needlessly drawn out. The voice acting is amateurish at best and the characters are obsessed with existential philosophy. It’s simply not a good game. If you’re into boring games you’ll like this one.

Slavic Blade Runner
Its like the slavic version of the first Blade Runner, its very artistic, existential, nihilistic at times and otherworldly. Gameplay wise it is one of the best RPGs of the modern times. Think Planescape Torment, but with detectives and vodka. Loved it :)

A 2mm Hole in my Skull.
This has been the most pleasurable gaming-rpg experience that I've experienced in a long while. Disco Elysium perfectly balances comedy and tradgedy in a way that spoke to my soul. Not since the Mass Effect trilogy have I felt as invested in the stories of these characters and my characters interaction with them. The game feels grounded yet absurd at the same time, very much like our own reality. There is no traditional combat but there are still stakes as your protagonist is suffering from some mental instability and the wrong choice of words being said can easily push him over the edge to a fail state. If you want a game that has a stories, characters, and heart, then Disco Elysium is the experience that you are looking for.

An Incredible RPG
I was unsure of Disco Elysium when I first bought it to be honest. I had heard nothing but praise for the game, but was slightly apprehensive before I started playing it. Was I wrong about that apprehension. Disco Elysium is an incredible game with an intriguing narrative that gripped me from the second it began along with a unique and beautiful art style and a great soundtrack. The narrative is the main selling point of the game, and it works very well in my opinion. It is unique and far different from more traditional RPGs and it takes inspriation from the works of philosophers and political thinkers. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to delve further into the CRPG genre or is intrigued by what Disco Elysium is. + An incredibly captivating narrative right from the beginning + Great soundtrack and artistic style (personal taste) + Has a large variety of personality in its cast of characters + Unique setting for the CRPG genre - Has A LOT of text (personal taste)
