A game ruined by its difficulty.

I played this for maybe 5 hours and then grew tired because it was ultimately made unplayable by a ridiculous difficulty. You're tasked with preventing wave upon wave of disgruntled peasants from overrunning your castle. The game allows you to extract resources to build and later upgrade your facilities and castle itself. Stone and wood permit you to build resources that you need and your men are able to farm fish and berries as food. Typical strategy city-builder stuff. But once the waves start coming, you are basically unable to continue improving your castle because wave management becomes front and centre. Unless you are an absolute master at this genre, most people will essentially tap out because the difficulty prevents you from actually PLAYING THE GAME and upgrading your castle. I was super stoked with the trailer but disappointed at the difficulty. Devs, please fix the difficulty so that you can actually do other stuff during the game like mine and upgrade because the difficulty bottlenecks the game entirely.

Yet another castle/town defense game

Not bad, but way to hard, even on the easiest mode this game is a real challange. imo the waves come way to fast compared to how fast you can buildup your town and defenses. Guess it takes some more stratagy from my side, but iam more of a casual gamer... If you like games with loads of enamies attacking in massive waves (and like a challange); try this game.

Pleasant RTS about survivng waves...

Ruined: challenge becomes frustration

As many have said, the difficulty level is just a joke. Even the easiest one is incredibly challenging. The bad part is that the difficulty is not a strategic challenge: they dump an incredible amount of enemies at you, that's it. This is too bad because the graphics, animations and story deserve 5 stars. I wonder why in 4 years nobody had the idea to make a patch to cut that number gradually. The game is ruined, and the challenge becomes frustrating.

Very good RTS!

The game is very much fun and deliver what they promoted. The gameplay is fun, the maps & campaign are fantastic, but the story could have been told in a more compelling way. However the campaign have multiple endings, so you get your money's worth. I would definetly recommended this game .
