Din, champion of the gods, has cursed you into a second life of service because you selfishly squandered your first one while causing misfortune to those around you. Travel the plains of Aleria and save desperate towns from the brink of annihilation. Until you're redeemed, you're doomed to wander the earth alone for all eternity.

In Din's Curse, you will explore an extensive underground, slaying dangerous monsters, solving dynamic quests, dodging deadly traps, and in your spare time, plundering loot. Quell uprisings, flush out traitors, kill assassins, cure plagues, purge curses, end wars, and complete other dangerous quests or the danger WILL escalate. Not all is as it seems though, traitors will gladly stab you in the back, renegades can revolt against the town, spies can set up ambushes, and items might even curse or possess your friends.

Choose one of 141 class combinations and journey to an infinite number of dynamically generated towns with vastly different problems. Every game is a surprise! Your actions have real consequences in this dynamic, evolving world. Your choices actually matter!

Before the Torchlight games...

Played on Linux Mint 17.3 and Windows 7. Nvidia NVS 3100M, Nvidia GT 610, and ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics. PROS: + Labyrinth of dungeons start simple and gain complexity with progression. + Good variety in character customization. + Swath of side missions. + Main story can be tackled casually. + Loot is plentiful. + Enemies are challenging, but not overwhelming. + Modest hardware requirements. + Damn good price at $10. CONS: - Main story can easily get neglected amidst all the side quests. - Side quests can easily get botched if you take on too many at once. - Mission objectives are easy to lose focus of. VERDICT: Worth getting. Though not as slick in visuals nor streamlined in gameplay as the Torchlight games, Din's Curse is an RPG fans' action RPG.

Buy this game!!! Do it!!!!

The game is awesome! If you love random dungeon crawlers, this one is about as random as it gets. I've played some 200 levels worth and still see new things happening. The main problem I have with the game is the interface, I feel like I argue with it a lot. It decides to attack monsters that are far from my mouse. Some of the enemies exploit these bugs (for example, spiders place webs underneath themselves, so the interface targets the web instead of the spider when you try to attack it.) The homing spells will not only target, but favor hitting useless targets like puddles of water or light sources. It makes such skills very useless. I've also noticed that skeleton keys do not store or save in this game, they disappear when you save and quit.

The game dumps EVERYTHING on you the moment you spawn. You better have lots of time and patience to get into this.

You'd better if you start playing THIS game! Be prepared to fight monsters, break up evil meeting designed to destroy your town, cure the plague, and weild the mightiest of weapons. Truly a blast!
