Diluvion: Resubmerged has been rebuild from the ground-up and introduces brand new features which add more strategic depth to looting, managing your unique crew, and upgrading your different submarines to fit player’s needs- and playstyles. Salvaging is more dynamic than ever with hazard battles that require your crew’s abilities and items to overcome, and a new forging system offers greater customization of your vessel with upgrades for armor, depth range, life support and more. The update also includes enhanced visuals, mappable gamepad controls, new graphics settings, a complete UI overhaul with improved quest tracking and waypoints, the ability to save anywhere, and revamped landmark, navigation and pathfinding systems. Lastly new side quests, artwork and music alongside a number of quality-of-life improvements.
Forced into the deep oceans by a Great Flood that occurred countless centuries ago, humanity now lives trapped under a thick layer of unbreakable ice and their survival hangs by a tenuous thread. However, their penchant for perseverance is strong, and a new civilization has emerged with distinct kingdoms, religions and cultures. By a twist of fate you, an aspiring submarine captain, have been given the honor of commanding your first sub. With a brave crew at your command, you now venture into the unknown on a quest to discover humanity’s greatest secret.

Some bad underwater deep-down submarine simulation game. Controls are broken and fiddly, you can configure all you want but it still won't behave in any reasonable way. I never even made it consistantly far from the starting point, only once by sheer chance. I guess there's some story and crew management - never got that far. The developers clearly didn't do any research into how a submarine behaves and moves or at least how a ship does. Maybe they didn't even care… My advice: Spent your money elsewhere or apply for refund.

Meh
I was really looking forward to this game. The developers looked like a good group of people who wanted to create a really awesome game. Unfortunately, it didnt end up being awesome. I was actually quite bored of it rather quickly. To each their own. Luckily, it wasnt that expensive like some AAA games that also dissapoint *cough* *ubisoft*

Out of control
You need to manually configure the controls, also those of the contoller. I really wanted to play this game. It looks amazing and the music is fantastic but this is unplayble. The controls are a mess and it's increadible difficult to set them up so they work.

‘Sonar is working Captn! Allright then ye landlubbers, let´s find ourselves some shiny loot!’ - After the sonar ping is done, you get the feeling that there is something outside, something following you. And it is not a swarm of helpful goldfish…it´s a pirate! ‘Ready Torpedo Tube 1 Mr. Rawlson!’ Ready Capn’ ‘Then FIRE! For Neptunes sake, FIRE!’ •You are in a submarine. And you are the Captain. You have a Crew consisting of one 1st Officer manning the helm of the vessel. You are somewhere in the deep sea. From then on, it is going to be one hell of a ride! •The game features a tutorial that shows you the ins and outs of commanding a submarine – Controls, Crew management, Trading with Hubs/Ships and Questing/Navigating as well as an introduction to the dangers of the deep ocean. •Your task is to explore, navigate, trade and follow some quests. Quests vary from navigating, to fighting and trading as well as collecting. •You are limited in range by oxygen supply and your vessels ability to dive deep. Upgrading your ship and crew is essential! There is also a limit to how large your crew can be. That limit is determined by the size and type of your ship. You can upgrade your ship and buy different ship types. The Atmosphere this game creates is amazing. It is partly due to the choice of graphics style and partly because the developers chose to include an amazing soundtrack. The feeling of actually controlling the submarine arrives quickly. Commanding your crew is done manually and in times of battle with a bullet-time mode called “captains time”. That adds to the dynamic fighting under the sea. You can always try to avoid a fight, if it is not quest related – you have to be fast enough though. The Submarines controls feel slow compared to other games, but not too slow to take the whole dynamic out of being able to control the ship with mouse and keyboard overall. You will enjoy this if you like either a) submarines b) loot c) great atmosphere d)uniqueness in games
