the charm wears off fairly quickly
Promising concept and nice graphics, but the charm wears off after the first playthrough. I tried all three modes and the experience is more or less the same with quite low replayability. There are no particular choices or situations leaving you thinking ´what if I had made a different decision or managend this differently´, which could make it more engaging especially given the survival theme. I felt that more could have been done with different animals and their abilities and weaknesses. While the idea of fulfilling their wishes to be able to unlock more game features is good, the relatively fast paced way in which charaters are coming and going makes it difficult to get attached to any of them. Their names are also quite repetitive, which does not help. I am not really sure what the expedition component is meant to achieve. By the time you get artifacts you will likely not be needing them and there is no satisfaction to discovering the world around you.
