Diablo 1 HD Mod (Belzebub)

The mod is fully playable in English. For other supported languages, localization is partial: while all UI elements remain in English, lore documents and quest content are translated.
Beelzebub, or Diablo I HD Mod, is a complex modification for the first installment of the Diablo series, which introduces a number of interesting improvements to the gameplay, a lot of new content and - most importantly - increased resolution.
Beelzebub enriches the cult Diablo series with a real mass of intriguing content, presenting it all in HD resolution. The modification adds new locations, missions, spells, skills and monsters, 204 unique items, 170 crafting recipes, several new character classes (Warrior, Sorcerer, Rogue, Necromancer or Barbarian), 28 sets and 105 set items, four difficulty levels available in the single player mode, as well as a host of other gameplay improvements. The developer has also thought of a few additions in terms of interface, support for widescreen, and - as we have already mentioned - full integration with the new Windows systems. There is no denying that there is a lot to it, so every fan of the series, especially of the ‘one’, will undoubtedly not pass by this modification indifferently.

Excellent !!
Back to the 90's, in the good way ! The game is slowest than we are used to nowadays, but it's so good to re experience the foundation of a genre in the best shape with our modern pcs. The mod is 10/10

Brilliant mod - but...
As an old school fan, this mod really adds a lot of QoL features that the original did not have. However, as an old gamer, my only complaint is that you cannot turn off the level regeneration of mobs, which means you have to dedicate about 20-30mins per level, and being old, with my own crotch goblins, this can be at times rather difficult. Thus far, everything else is just better!

The best Diablo 1 experience
For me original Diablo simply doesn't hold up after 20+ years - games have evolved and got many exciting elements that simply weren't there in D1 - thanks to Belzebub we basically get Diablo 1.5 which is still enjoyable for people like me but maintaining (and improving! new quests are simply epic) the atmosphere of the game
