Deus Ex™ GOTY Edition

What more is there to say ? This is clearly not well tested, just goes straight to a black screen with no indication on how to fix.

When I first bought this game last December, I played through the tutorial to ensure the game would run better than the Steam version, which it did, provided I kept the original aspect ratio of 640x480. But I didn't play further than that, because as a YouTuber, I wanted to wait until I was going to record the game. But today, I tried to play the game again, and I can hear the menu music, but I can't see anything except white lines at the edges of the screen. When I launched the game through the "safe mode" thing, it was able to work. But no matter what I try, I cannot get the game to work properly.

Simply perfect in every way

Not much needs to be said for this incredible game, in fact after all these years reviving the series with Deus Ex: Human Revolution says enough, this is the first RPG/action/stealth game that makes you wanna play more and more... After 10+ years, still in my list as one of the greatest games ever published.

Deus Ex is a truly great game. That is: if you give it a chance. I gave it a chance the THIRD time I started it. It took me a little while to "get" it, but when I did, I loved every moment of it. This game is a piece of art, if you like to decide for yourself how to play this. This concept is implemented really well: you do not have to kill the enemies (save for 2 or 3) if you don't want to and I found it to be a very satisfying experience of "getting my way". The settings are quite nice, the atmosphere is great and it's easy to get immersed into the game. The story is interesting enough to keep you from losing interest. One of the best PC games out there.
