GOG.com!
The year is 2052 and the world is a dangerous and chaotic place. Terrorists operate openly - killing thousands; drugs, disease and pollution kill even more. The world's economies are close to collapse and the gap between the insanely wealthy and the desperately poor grows ever wider. Worst of all, an ages old conspiracy bent on world domination has decided that the time is right to emerge from the shadows and take control.

This is probably one of the best role playing games of all time however it's really dated. The gameplay is super akward and slow but that doesn't really matter as the parts of the game where you're not fighting are something else. The voice acting and writing is honestly the best I've ever seen. I would definitly recomend playing this game however get ready for some agrivating stuggish gameplay.
Wow I was like what 10 years old when I was playing this? My god just good memories with this game. I've started up learning my English with this game too. Besides that, a big story of conspiring, open world areas split into multiples cities to visit. A good gameplay simple and intuitive, many many many hours to complete. Epic sentences :P Seriously it was my first PC game and I am in love with this series since then so I recommended this game if you want a unique experience of this RPG/Action game.
What a game. Just... Wow.
Many games claim to allow for mutliple play styles, but this game managed to do it. I saw it on the best of list in PC Gamer, and decided to give it a go.
After being frustrated for half an hour or so, dying over and over again, I discovered the somehow underpowered and overpowered at the same time tranq gun, and how to use it right. Shoot, hide until the guy falls down.
I played through the game in that style for quite a bit. I loved every second.
The moment that defined the game for me was one level where I had to get into a gas station. The bad guys were holding someone hostage (for the sake of the great story, I won't specify things). I kept being discovered and the hostage kept dying. The game lets you keep going if you want, but I was going to save that hostage, darn it!
I kept trying, using every weapon at my disposal. My heavily upgraded pistol? Died. Shotgun? Nope. Etc.
Finally, I noticed a ladder in the back of the station. I climbed up and found a skylight. I broke it, and threw a gas grenade down there.
It bounced up back onto the roof (HOW?!) and killed me.
Second try, I was successful. I went in, gassed everyone there, and saved the hostage.
Could I have used brute force? Probably. I could have done almost anything. The freedom in this game is unmatched to this day, and I love the heck out of this game.
Dues Ex is truly what gaming is all about
Deep epic story, vastly different areas of game play, awesome game play mechanics
I've seen things in this game, that I've never seen in others, like the fact that you can alter events in the game by acting apon them before they happen, all about the right place at the right time, but it makes replay amazingly fun
The game caters for most play styles and even with it aging a little badly, it's still one of the greatest PC games ever made
This game has replay value out the wazoo. I have played and beaten it over 6-7 times on diffrent ports *3 times on the N-64* and I like the PC version best. Byfar this is one of the neatest games you will ever play because you are given so many choices and options to handle a situation. The game gets frustrating at times and I have found a glitch in the Hong Kong area, however i managed to bypass it. If you are thinking about getting this, just get it. It is well worth the 5 or 10 dollars. I think most games out their lack substance, and this has it. I would call it a bleak game but a great one, nonetheless.
