Top quality game

If you are a fan of Commandos, this game is a must buy. It has the upper hand on Commandos by allowing you to record a move, then activate it when an enemy is within range, which gets rid of any frantic clicking. There are plenty of levels to play, including night versions with adjusted goals and enemy positions. The environments themselves are artistically nice, and often quite large. Missions can take a while to complete, and will require a lot of trial and error, but this is a good thing, as long as you remember to save often.

Such a shame.

I would love to play this game, unfortunately it runs extremely slowly on my computer, which is a modern powerful gaming laptop handling the latest releases, most frustrating as its unplayable, its like its on 0.5 speed, tweeking options provides no joy either.

Fun, Patience and Repetition

Tough action, that will require a remarkable amount of patience and... strategy. PROS: Amazing scenarios, graphics are at best in it's pure isometric 3D/2D perfection, characters are well made with very interesting skills and all of them are likable, guaranteed satisfaction after finishing each level CONS: Sometimes limited and linear level designs that does NOT allow for creative strategies as would be expected in this type of game. Repetitions will become a norm to you as you attempt different approaches, so there should be a quick save + secondary quick save just in case you saved right before a "dead end" situation. AI is sometimes buggy and limited and does not allow for some more creative approaches and/or frustrate you with situations where you just end up giving up doing something fun to do something that just works and gets the job done. Worth knowing, and not only for "western" fans, it is a solid strategy game for anyone. Can be really fun, regardless of the cons.

Best Western Game ever made

Beautifully created backgrounds, loads of levels, striking if stereotypical hero selection and a score that puts even Ennio Morricone to shame. This forgotten jewel ticks all the boxes of a great wild west gunslinger game! Don't be fooled. This game is unforgiving. The enemys are smart (even in various degrees) and much tougher than you. You will have to quick load a lot of times but if you get it right there is hardly a better feeling of accomplishment. The people behind the game even went this far to create a big demo level which was not even included in the final product but thankfully THQ Nordic put it back in, along with full Win 10 Support and 7 choosable languages. You can't really go wrong here, especially when the game is on sale. Give this masterpiece of game design and music a chance. It will definately be worth you time and money.

As good as i remembered

Followed Good4Games2019 advice (review is here on GOG) and this game works perfect on my windows 10 computer. I must admit that i have a lot of nostalgia for this game and i am a bit biased because i played it a hell of a lot when i was a kid so now 15-18 years later i played it for the first time again. And goddamn this game is still as good as i remember. Hard but rewarding tactical gameplay. You can really play around with different tactics. Love the atmosphere and soundtrack. Sometimes when you visit an old game that you played when you where a kid it isn't the same feeling but in this case i played 18 hours this weekend and i had so much fun. Love this game.
