在这款西部背景的游戏中，玩家将在出众的即时世界中尽情享受策略与战术游戏内容。作为负责指挥6名赏金猎人的队长，你需要想法设法完成自己的任务，这其中包括潜入敌方要塞、拯救小队成员或者是从埋伏中脱身……巧妙搭配6位英雄的不同技能并带领他们走向胜利。
剧情
埃尔帕索，靠近墨西哥边境与美国西南部的典型狂野西部小镇。现在是1881年。在过去的几个月中，著名铁路企业川宁公司旗下的火车成为了一系列劫持与埋伏抢劫行动的目标。是可忍孰不可忍，公司高层决定亲自出手制止此类案件。川宁公司开出了高达15000美金的赏金来悬赏犯下这些案件的帮派头目。
但问题是，埃尔帕索中并没有人又胆量去挑战那些无恶不作的响马，这使得那些亡命徒们能够继续肆无忌惮地抢劫一列又一列火车。就连本地的治安官也对此事保持着睁一只眼闭一只眼的态度。
直到一位骑着马的陌生人来到小镇，一切才发生改变。赏金猎人约翰·库伯叩响了当地的川宁公司分部经理室大门，并提议自己愿意帮助结束一直以来困扰着这家铁路公司的问题。库伯召集起了自己过去的搭档们，并向匪徒们正式宣战。但是为了拿到这笔赏金，他们将需要穿越半个美国西南部，很快，库伯便这次的任务并没有他想象的那么简单……

Heads-up
On the 10th of July in 2018 this game got updated by THQ Nordic which solves a lot of the earlier technical problems. Steam Version also got the Mac / Linux Version not sure if here too. Excellent
Among the best games on GOG. A must have for fans of the Commandos series. Warning: Difficulty level is already high in the first introductory missions, and becomes yet higher near the ending. Newbies should probably start with Commandos first.

Very climatic tale
This game brings back so many memories from my childhood. The graphics are still pretty decent, thanks to the pixelesque style used. The characters are memorable and each has it's own perks. The most fun I had was trying different strategies to get through the levels as stealthy as possible. Too bad there was never a worthy sequel to this game, as they went full 3D, which broke the immersion for me.
